Bishop's Blog

This here blog serves as my link to the outside world. If you should venture onto this site, be it on purpose or by accident, you will find a few scattered enties that show some of the general shennigans and hijinks that make up my existence. Mostly, it is just a documentaion of my adventures here in CO.

Hot Stuff

I have discovered that if you Google, Mark Bishop Colorado, you get my blog. I had no idea. I have entertained my own vanity a few times and googled my name. The only links to be found are race results from a few bike races. Not much else linking me to cyber space. But, that search brings Bishop's Blog in playing first chair. An old co-worker and one time spark, found me recently. It is interesting to contemplate other's access to me as a result of this forum.

It is also interesting to wonder how much anyone really knows about me as a result of reading this journal. I only put out there what I want others to know about me. I have a non-disclosure agreement with myself in many ways. There is no paperwork, but I feel a bit obbligated to censure my own content. Not that this is the shining happy people version of my life, but more that it is really just one small slice. If my life were a pie, stashed away in the bakers case of a coffee shop, this blog would not be enough to serve anyone. Not that it is not good enough, but the portion would be so meager that it would only bait your appetite without offering enough coverage to hide a hook.

I do appreciate all the readership that your time and energy has brought to this site. It has been a fun and healthy experience. I hope to get back to some regular posts. Stay tuned for "When it rains, it pours: Life and times from the dessert"
